NATIONAL PARKS IN INDIA


National Parks in India is the Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park (IGWLS and NP) is a protected area named after Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who visited the park on October 7, 1961. It is often called the top slip which is a village located in the northeast corner of the National Parks in India and is the main centre for visitors. This name originated from a local practice of the 19th century, in which the wooden logs of teak were rolled down from the hills. It is located in the Anaimalai Hills of Polachi, Velparai and Udumalpet talukas in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu state of South India. Spread over 108 sq km, this National Parks in India is an important area of ​​958 sq km Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary, which was previously called the Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary. Park and Sanctuary, Western Ghats are considered by UNESCO as part of the World Heritage Site. The Animalia Conservation Area is composed of the sanctuary and Palani hills in the district of Dindigul.

There are six administrative areas of the sanctuary, Pollachi: Range Headquarters at Anaimalai Farm: 109.72 sq. Km, Valparai: Waterfall: 171.50 km², Vault: Top slip: 75.93 sq km, Amravati: Amravati Nagar: 172.50 km², Udumalpet: 290.18 square Kms IGWLS is in the west with Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary. There is a drainage basin of 110 ± sq km at the eastern end of Manjampatti Valley Park (National Parks in India).


The expanse of the height ranges from 340 meters (1,120 feet) to 2,513 meters (8,245 feet) above sea level. There is considerable humanitarian diversity in IGWS, where more than 4600 tribal people live in the 34 habitations belonging to six indigenous people. These tribes are Kadar, Malasar, Malayandasar, Pulaiyar, Muduvar and Eravalar.

National Parks in India is the centre of a wide variety of flora and fauna especially of the South Western Ghats. There are more than 2000 species of plants in which about 400 species are of major medicinal value. The variety of topography and rainfall here is favourable for a variety of flora made from a mixture of natural and man-made habitats. National Parks in India, Natural habitats include humid evergreen forests and semi-evergreen forests, Montana Shola-grassland, moist deciduous and dry deciduous, thorny forests and swamps. Tropical moist evergreen forests are found from 600 meters to 1600 meters high.

Tropical Montane forests are at higher altitudes and are spread in the middle with mountain grasslands which form the Shola-Grazing Complex. Most of the genuine evergreen forests now include a renewed teak plantation. National Parks in India, Bamboo stands and trunk are present in the natural forests. The coverage of the trees is provided by Hopia Perviflora, Mesua Feria, Calophyllum Tomatosum, Wetteria Indica, Cullenia Excelsa and Mangifera Indica, Matlus Macantha, Alstonia Skolaris, Avodia Melifolia, Alanthus and Malabarikam and Eucalyptus Grandis. National Parks in India is the planet of podocarpus vallicians, a rare southern Indian species of conifer.
